Privacy Policy

Effective October 3, 2026

1. Scope

This policy explains how Destinomy collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website and transportation operations analytics service.

2. Information we collect

We collect the account information you provide, including your name and email address; password hashes and authentication records; vehicle and odometer information; and the income, expense, online-time, and stand-down records you enter. We also use IP addresses for login protection and rate limiting, and our hosting infrastructure may create basic server and security logs.

We do not ask you to connect a rideshare-platform account. Do not upload documents containing information that is unnecessary for your analysis.

3. Statement uploads

When you upload a supported PDF or CSV statement, the file is processed to identify transaction rows and prepare an import preview. Nothing from that preview is added to your account until you choose to commit the import.

Raw statement files are processed for extraction and are not intentionally retained after the request completes. Committed transaction fields, including date, merchant description, amount, category, and vehicle assignment, remain in your account until you delete them or close the account.

4. How we use information

We use information to provide calculations and dashboards, authenticate users, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, send password-reset messages you request, and improve service reliability. We do not sell personal information.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We use service providers for hosting, database operation, and email delivery, including password-reset messages and internal notifications of account-deletion requests, which contain the email address submitted with the request. They process information only to provide those services on our behalf. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, Destinomy, or the security of the service.

6. Cookies and sessions

Destinomy uses strictly necessary cookies or similar session technology to keep you signed in, protect authentication flows, and secure the service. Blocking these technologies may prevent account features from working.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics to track you across websites. Because Destinomy does not conduct cross-site tracking, browser “Do Not Track” signals do not change how the service operates.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep account and committed operating data while your account is active. You may delete individual records or permanently delete your account from Account settings. If you cannot or prefer not to sign in, you can request deletion of your account and its operating data at destinomy.com/delete-account. Limited security records may be retained when reasonably necessary to prevent abuse or comply with law.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a strong, unique password and protect access to your email account.

9. Your choices and rights

You may review and correct account information through Account settings, delete individual records, or permanently delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Children

Destinomy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. For privacy questions or requests, contact us through Facebook Messenger on the Destinomy Facebook page.
